A big crowd made the trek to Tara Station, Euabalong West NSW, for the 6th Annual Rockingham sale on 2nd October 2014. A large percentage of repeat buyers and plenty of local support were present, to compete on the offering of 36 bulls, 3 stud females and a commercial line of 400 plus females.
Rockingham recorded an impressive average, with the bull portion of the sale averaging $4,485 for a 94% clearance. The 3 stud females sold foe a 100% clearance to average $1,750, with a top price of $2,000 twice.
The 400 strong female commercial offering sold well, with the top price pen selling for $1,225 per head for PTIC heifers.
